Our Energy Consulting department is designed to work with you and your team and be your partner in helping reduce your building’s energy needs.
There are numerous benefits received by doing this. Primarily this saves money today and in the long run. In fact, most or all of the costs of having an Energy Project Manager can be paid by your Utility company. You are just left with the savings.
We can assign you an Energy Project Manager (EPM) to work one on one with you to help benchmark where you are right now, suggest measures to improve your buildings condition showing benefits and which are most cost effective.
Then he will help develop your Plan of Action, with associated estimated budget costs. You choose which to act on and in what order. With the level II we can then help you through the process of selection, contracting and tracking results. The three main services are summarized below:
Initial Consultation:
We will meet with the owner to discuss options and layout an energy-saving strategy.
Energy Project Manager (EPM) Level I: Assessment and Plan of Action
We provide you a single person who will work with you to gather all data needed to establish a Benchmark of your buildings energy health. He will inspect your Building Envelope, Lighting Systems, HVAC Systems, Insulation, Motors and pumps, processes to identify areas for energy and efficiency improvements. He will input all your data into our modeling software and generate a report showing where your power bill is spent, where it could be improved, estimated ROI for each remedy and then go over a summary list with you with recommendations and estimated associated costs. This results in identifying the low lying fruit, which you help identify and a Plan of Action is formed.
Energy Project Manager (EPM) Level II: Implementation
We have licenses that allow us to help you fulfill your Plan of Action, one phase at a time or all at once. We would partner with your team and could help throughout the design, contracting, permitting, budgeting and scheduling process.
We are experienced Commercial contractors and can help hire the right contractors, oversee all work, maintain quality control, confirm proper commissioning at finish and that proper O&M Manuals, onsite training occurs. We represent you. Then we can help set up energy metering and monitoring to track the improvements to show what impact or savings the improvements have made. Again there are significant incentives available to offset costs to you.
